Welcome to the Simply Smiles Dentistry Blog

If you’re interested in topics and discussions centering around dentistry and how it pertains to you and your family, you’ve come to the right place! Our goal on this blog is to provide useful information and tips on oral health and to connect with our patients and the Pinecrest community. We are a family practice, run by husband-and-wife team, Alexander Trujillo and Kiara Miro-Trujillo. Our mission is to provide exceptional, state-of-the-art dentistry services while establishing long-term relationships with our patients, who become like family too.

On the blog, you can expect to find in-depth posts about our variety of services, posts on oral health, and we will also be answering FAQs. We strive to serve not only your smile, but your overall health. Did you know that according to the Global Burden of Disease (2017), untreated tooth decay in permanent teeth is the most common health condition? Lack of dental hygiene can drastically affect your quality of life, and we are here to help you to live your best life possible.

Our expert and caring staff can provide services ranging from a simple dental cleaning, to cosmetic procedures, to oral surgery and orthodontics. We work with all ages, and we truly love all of our patients. Dr. Kiara Miro-Trujillo says: “My goal is to treat every patient as I would like to get treated. It’s an honor. I strive to provide adults and children with caring dentistry and a focus on the patient/doctor relationship.”

Dr. Kiara and Dr. Alexander are generous toward their community and the world. They both participate in community programs to provide dental care to low-income families, along with providing care abroad to families in need. At Simply Smiles, you won’t just receive expert attention, but also kindness and compassion. We want you to step out into the world, confident in the knowledge that you have a devoted team behind your smile.

We hope you’ll share our blog with your friends and family; we would love our patient list to keep growing. Let us know in the comments which topics you’d like to see covered!
